The Association of Tour Operators of Quebec is a nonprofit organization that has been recognized since 2002. It’s role is to represent its members and raise awareness amongst people in the travel industry, as well as government authorities, service providers, the media, and the public at large.

The ATOQ’s goals and mission

•Bring together into one professional association tour operators, travel wholesalers and last minute travel consolidators to safeguard and enhance the reputation of the profession;

•Promote the common interests of the members and, to this end, make submissions to government authorities, the media and the public in general, to help achieve the Association’s goals;

•Encourage the realization of joint projects to promote the interests of its members, and assist them in playing a more effective role in the economy of the Province of Quebec;

•Facilitate, through the organization of seminars and conventions, contact between members, between the latter and the general public, comparable regional or overseas associations, Government and other bodies;

•Promote the technical progress and development of the travel tour operator profession;

•Monitor the Association’s members, build a professional code of conduct, and thus provide the travelling public with a certain kind of guarantee of integrity.
